MASERU- As the world faces growing environmental challenges- climate change, pollution, and resources starting to face a steady decline in regards to accessibility, there has never been a more urgent time to take action, thus EcoFest, a celebration of sustainability, community, engagement, and music, all coming together to inspire a positive change. More than just an event, EcoFest aims to educate, empower, and sensitize individuals to live in a sustainable manner.

THE POWER OF ECOFEST: MORE THAN JUST AWARENESS Ecofest, hosted by Buti’s Car Wash is designed to be an immersive experience, that aims to blend entertainment with education. Attendees won’t be only hearing about sustainability, but will see it being practiced in action. At first glance, music and sustainability may seem like separate worlds. But EcoFest bridges the gap by using music as a tool for change and, music has the power to bring people together, inspire emotions, and raise awareness. Many artists performing at EcoFest are environmental advocates, using their voices to highlight critical issues and the headliners were carefully selected not only for their talent but also for their dedication to sustainability:

  • Promoting sustainable music practices, such as eco-friendly instruments and energy-efficient performances.
  • Advocating for environmental causes and encouraging fans to take action.

The lineup features the Multi-Award winning artists such as Ntate Stunna, Aymos, Sannere, Cityzeen Ls as the headliners while being further bolstered by Nthabi Sings, Phoka Ea Boroa, Bassie, Wave Rhyder and Mark Khoza for performances. Mitter Ntoana Mosotho and April Mahase will be the MCs , while DJs include Sir-Chef Dikata, Keshy, Nosta, Tommy D, Mimi and Prime to name a few. Tickets are currently at M200 for General access and the VIP is M500, prices will differ on the day of the event with the general access being M250 and the VIP being M600. The event has also prioritized the safety of all attending patrons with Lifeline Ambulance Services being on standby in cases of emergency, and for varsity student who have purchased tickets, particularly from the National University of Lesotho(NUL), a free bus trip will be allocated for ensuring that you are secure and get the opportunity to enjoy the experience.
